2nd March: The school opening function was held on 2nd march 2024. Students from class VI and above, parents, staff and teachers attended the function.
The chief guest for the occasion was Bir Dege Sey Mr. Chime Dorjee la and the Bir Dege Tibetan Settlement representative, Ms. Kunchok Lhamo la was invited as a guest of honour.
The academic prize distribution of the previous session 2023 was done during the function by the chief guest. Ms. Langa Zomba of class 9 stood out to be the topper with 93.6 %. There were 6 students who scored 90% and above and 35 students who scored 75 % and above.
New committee members for the session 2024, newly appointed staff members were formally welcomed and introduced during the scarf ceremony by the guest of honour.
Subsequently, there was an oath ceremony where the school captains and prefects of the year 2024 took the oath to fulfil their duty with full sincerity and dedication.
The chief guest for the day addressed the audience with a small short story related to the students.
Next there was a vote of thanks by the school headmistress Mrs. Tenzin Dolma. The program ended with the singing of school song Khenpe Yeshi.
