He also mentioned about the creation of “Book and Biscuits Room” (B&B) by Mrs. Tenzin Palmo and the new Art room would be inaugurated by the Chief Guest on the same day. The B&B was created to improve students’ interest in learning languages and to create a love of learning during breaks and free time, where they can read, rest, and have fun with old and new things. He also wished all the participants the best of luck.
This year, TCV Chauntra also invited neighbouring schools to participate in their annual athletic meet. Schools such as TCV Upper, TCV Gopalpur, TCV Suja, and Iflex International School all accepted the invitation and sent teams to compete.
The Chief Guest then declared the Inter-House Athletics Meet open. The meet was followed by a series of track and field events for boys and girls of all divisions, including 100m race, 200m race, 800m race, 1500m race, high jump, long jump, triple jump, and shot put.
