REPORT ON TEACHER’S PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SOCIAL

SCIENCE DEPARTMENT YEAR-2024

GOAL: Learning about the class 6 social science textbook in Tibetan language and Tibetan

alphabet typing.

PROCEDURES:

1. As we have came to learnt that class 6-8 social science has to be teach in Tibetan language. So, all of us set our mind to learn Tibetan language.
2. For this its very important for all of us to learn Tibetan handwriting. So, all of us promised to buy one booklet of Tibetan handwriting and we have practiced as mic as we could.
3. Since we are supposed to teach social science in Tibetan. It’s very essential for us to learn Tibetan typing. So, all of us insert Tibetan keyboard in our own laptop to learn Tibetan typing and all of us could able to reached our goal.
4. All of us were able to read chapter one to three from class 6 social science textbook in Tibetan during TPD periods.
5. We have discussed about the up coming new common syllabus of class 6-8. which was very helpful during workshop sharing at Gopalpur. In fact, education director Gen Ngawang Lhamo la admired our school.

CONCLUSION:

Teacher’s professional development is very helpful for the entire social science teacher to learn from each other, discuss about the important programmed to be held, Specially, this year we have learnt a lot about Tibetan reading, writing. Typing as much as we could. Thank you, administration, for their kind support.
