On 12 August, TCV School Chauntra had the great honour of welcoming the venerable Geshe Dorji Damdul la, Director of Tibet House, the Cultural Centre of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, New Delhi, as a resource person.
Geshe la delivered an inspiring and insightful talk on the significance of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to the world, particularly to the Tibetan and Himalayan communities. He also spoke about the roles and responsibilities of followers of His Holiness and, at the request of the school, gave a brief teaching on the Eight Verses of Mind Training.
The session was deeply meaningful and enriching for both our students and staff, offering valuable reflections on compassion, wisdom, and responsible living.
We were also pleased to welcome around 20 international students from Deer Park Institute, Bir, who joined our students and staff for the session.
